‘Whatever’ was definitely one of the more fun tracks to work on this summer. I spent a day with §∆℞∆H ฿∑LL⊍Ṁ aka Dan Knudson in LucidStudios piecing this whole song together from a previous track I had been working on that didn’t quite sound like I wanted. Using the various bass and lead melodies captured that day I was able to construct a mix of two songs into one epic structure that combines hip-hop, dubstep and electronic roots. Upon waking shortly after that day I realized the project had been lost somewhere in time and space and was only left with a rough copy .wav file. This is that file. This is LucidSpectrum & SarahBellum.
For this track I sampled Biggie Smalls from the track Runnin’ and Kendrick Lamar’s Swimming Pools.
