During the summer I had the pleasure of recording Bad Bones and the Devils Pawn Shop’s upcoming acoustic folk rock album. During this visit and after enough alcohol to kill a small child, we jacked into this project and got some great vocals. While listening back, I felt that the strongest part was when Thurston said ‘what you needed’, thus becoming the ‘hook’ of the song. I try to consistently keep listeners not knowing what to expect in my tracks and I think I hit the nail in the head for this one. Enjoy this track during the latter part of your journey and you won’t be able to knock back the smile.
